This year, George Weaver and Shawn Hill represented Wayne Concrete at the fourth annual New York Construction Materials Association Mixer Rodeo in Syracuse, NY on September 11, 2010. 

The rodeo is a demonstration of a mixer driver's skill, professionalism, and safe handling of a concrete mixer under competitive conditions.  Drivers were scored in three events:  Visual truck inspection, Written test, and Navigation of a challenge course in a mixer truck.  The winner represented New York State at the National Ready Mix Concrete Association's National Mixer Driver Championship in Charlotte, NC at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 10, 2010.
